Dispatch Resources in SAVE
This page will provide information on how to dispatch resources in SAVE.
Note: The user must have the appropriate role and permissions to dispatch resources in SAVE.
From the Incidents List, find and click on the Incident you want to edit. The Incident Info card will open.
Expand the Resources tab and then click Open Dispatcher.
By default, the Dispatcher will be filtered to display resources assigned to the incident. Click the Status filter in the upper left part of the Dispatcher panel and uncheck “Assigned to this Incident” to see the full resource list. To close the filter click outside the filter list. The filters can also be cleared by clicking on the X in the upper right corner of the Dispatcher panel.
Use the search and/or filters to find the preferred resources. Click on one or multiple resources. If you select multiple resources, then all resources must be in the same dispatch status (i.e. All resources must be in “Returned” status).
Click the preferred dispatch action button.
Resources will be dispatched. The resource icon will change color to reflect the new dispatch status and the resource(s) will appear under the Resource tab for that incident.
Click Close Dispatcher when finished dispatching resources.
